Probably the hottest day of the year and the A/C quits. Did the obvious: breakers, on and off switch. ’Bout to have a breakdown myself. Grandson (Casey) called Allstars A/C and Heating Repairs. This is after hours. Alex was here in less than an hour. A pleasant, very knowledgeable guy. I now have A/C at a reasonable cost and pleasant conversation. Win-win situation. This is the second time I’ve needed to replace expensive parts on an AC unit that is only about 8 years old, but it is the first time I’ve used this business. The owner took the time to look up my warranty on the unit and told me that it’s out of warranty, which is not something I had even questioned, and he mentioned that it would have had a ten-year warranty if it had been registered. I didn’t know that. The company that repaired it a few months ago (different parts) didn’t mention anything about warranty. Long story short, we called the manufacturer, who was lenient enough to allow us to register it now, and we got the full warranty approved. This saves us about $2,000 on this repair and something also significant from the prior repair. All because he took the 30 seconds needed to look it up and say something to me about it. That’s a great example of how to keep customers for life.

I made several calls in vain yesterday trying to find an A/C company to come out to service our unit.
